Primary School was giving their children vital training. With this opportunity, they can take their place as the up-and-coming, new generation of leaders in Kenya. We join the Emuruadikir community in faith for the future.
AN ORPHAN SPIRIT We see many signs of hope for days ahead in Kenya, but we were also aware of prevailing spiritual challenges. The sense of the “spirit of an orphan” is in many parts of Kenya. This per- sistent atmosphere creates a lack of a true spiritual identity. And if there is a lack of true identity, you will find it hard to reach for your God-given des- tiny. Knowing God as Father through Jesus Christ will bring forth a true identity as “sons” in Christ.
Once you gain their trust, the Maa- sai are outgoing, open, colorful people.
Please join us in prayer for Kenya’s children (and future leaders) that they may experience the words of Jesus, “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” (John 14:18) Knowing our identity as sons and daughters of the King causes us to fulfill our life’s pur- pose.
