detail. But as hard as we try, time just continues to move along, seemingly without any consideration to our fu- tile attempts to manipulate it. We must adjust to time because time is what it is, and it is not going to adjust to us.

So what is time worth? Is there even such a thing as “quality time?” If so, what determines “quality time?” Well, if we set time aside for something important that will be beneficial to us in a real way, then that is “quality time.”

It is peculiar that the One who instituted time seems to get very little of it from us. We make New Year’s resolutions to spend more time in prayer and to study God’s Word, and yet it seems that we get so busy we barely have time for church. There is no better time than now to start taking some quality time with the One who started all this in the first place. After all, He said in His Word (Hebrews 13:5) that He would never leave us or forsake us. He is al- ways there, even in the midst of your hectic schedule. So why not just take some time, consider what you have accomplished with your life and give the Giver of time some of your time. You will be glad you did.
