HOSPITAL PHARMACY TEAM OF THE YEAR UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL AYR
University Hospital, Ayr walked off with the Hospital Pharmacy Team of the Year accolade. A number of recent changes made at the hospital pharmacy department in University Hospital, Ayr has allowed the team to provide the best service possible. UHA benefits from a Hospital Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (HEPMA) system, and the team’s first move was to develop a report using information available from this system. The clinical pharmacy team have made a significant redesign to the clinical service over the last 16 months.
Sarah Brown from the hospital pharmacy team stated, “Winning this award means so much to us, It is a great recognition of the clinical pharmacy team here as a whole.
