COMMUNITY PHARMACY TEAM OF THE YEAR DAVIDSONS, BLAIRGOWRIE


The Operations Team play a pivotal role with the Davidsons Chemists Group; being responsible for ensuring that the company runs like a well-oiled machine and for ensuring that the company improves its profitability. Although the Operations Team itself is a new development within the company, the staff within it have been working for Davidsons for a number of years with a combined service of 66 years.


Their joint working dedication and effort paid off as they were crowned Community Pharmacy Team of the Year and received their award from NPA Board Member, Noel Wicks.


On behalf of Davidsons Chemist Blairgowrie, Karen Gordon commented, “Unfortunately not all of the team were able to be

here tonight but we are delighted to accept this award on everyone’s behalf. We have all put in a lot of hard work over the last 12-18 months in particular, especially with the new GPhC standards in our efforts of trying to satisfy and do well in them, so it’s fantastic that work has paid off.”


Noel Wicks, Board Member with the NPA commented, “The National Pharmaceutical Association is extremely proud to be supporting the Community Pharmacy Team of the Year Award. It is the team that makes any good pharmacy and comes as no surprise that Davidsons are at the top of their game in this respect so very proud to present them with their award and proud to be supporting the pharmacy teams right across the UK.”
