After a successful move to The Ricoh Arena in Coventry, SPATEX will be returning to its new Midlands home in February with an even bigger offering than in 2014. More than just an exhibition, SPATEX is the UK pool and spa industry’s biggest networking event of the year. uilding on the success of 2014 inaugural Coventry show, SPATEX returns to the Ricoh Arena from 1 to 3 February and organisers are expecting the 2015 event to offer more for its visitors than ever before.

At the time of going to print, the show can boast an impressive 1 in 3 new exhibitors and with over a hundred stands booked, SPATEX 2015 promises to be one of the best ever. The three day event is still recognised as the UK’s flagship exhibition and it represents exhibitors from all sectors of the wet leisure industry. But SPATEX is more than just an exhibition of products and services as Show Organiser Michele Bridle explains: “SPATEX prides itself on being at the vanguard of training and education. With 19 years experience under its belt and the support of all of the Industry’s main associations, such as ISPE, STA, PWTAG and ASA, no other wet leisure exhibition is able to offer so much expert-led training and education, all under one roof and all free of charge!
“The variety of experts is immense – 30 in all – ranging from a health and safety officer and sport and recreation advisor to a heating engineer and a world-renowned expert on cryptosporidium, plus many more.” Responding to demand, professional training provision has been doubled for 2015.

For the first time ever, SPATEX will be hosting a second seminar programme, to be held in parallel to the highly popular and well- established ISPE (Institute of Swimming Pool Engineers) Workshops on all three days of the show. Thus, there will be Arenas 1 and 2. Of course, if it is strictly products or services that you are looking for, then there’s plenty of choice on offer, especially as the show has now expanded into halls one and two for this year’s event. SPN will be at the show on stand F32 and in this edition we take a closer look at just some of what’s on offer in Coventry this February.
