A Smoother Pool Experience With
Waterco’s Hydrochlor
Designed and manufactured in Australia, the Hydrochlor Salt Water Chlorinator from Waterco will automatically maintain the chlorine level of your pool and eliminate problems associated with periods of very high or low chlorine levels. Fewer fluctuations in chlorine levels mean fewer fluctuations in pH levels. This adds up to more stable, balanced water. A salt-water chlorinated pool requires much less attention than a chlorine pool but there is another benefit to those using the pool. Ocean water has a salt content of around 35,000 parts per million (“ppm”) and humans have a salt taste threshold of around 3,500 ppm. The Hydrochlor requires a salt content of 4,000 – 6,000 ppm in the pool and swimming in a mild saline solution is much like taking a shower in soft water. In a salt-water pool (one with Hydrochlor) the water feels smooth, your skin feels soft and many people feel more refreshed. protection, a large LCD display, super
chlorination function, an energy saving winter mode and a high performance titanium electrolytic cell. The salt cell housing is pressure rated to 4 bar and the unit comes with a five year warranty.

Monaco Reel Range Helps Intopool Go From Strength To Strength
2014 has proven to be a great year for Kent based Intopool, with the company seeing a big increase in sales of their Monaco range of reels. Their success has also highlighted that end-users doesn’t always want a “cheap as chips” option but will pay more for a good quality product that works properly and will also look stylish beside their pool. With the factory fitted SmartGear, the company have also found that people use their pools more often because they don’t have to struggle winding the cover off the pool. They can cover and uncover the pool more often during the day and therefore save money on energy and chemical loss through evaporation etc.
Since the company brought out their Monaco Reels, they have been constantly asked about a solar powered option and for 2015 they are pleased to introduce the brand new Monaco SunReel. This follows 12 months of R&D and extensive testing of a prototype, the results of which they were delighted with. The control panel will be switch operated and can also be recharged using the mains. The Monaco SunReel will be available from spring 2015 and demo reels can be seen at SPATEX on the Aquaflex and SCP stands.
Last year Intopool also made several bespoke reels and cover systems for free- form shaped pools. The end-users are delighted as they can wind the cover off in one go rather than manhandling extra pieces of cover separately. The company

also made several commercial reels for some very large pools and with their Commercial SmartGear, this was an efficient and economical option for the customer. If you want a solution to a difficult pool then Intopool may hold the answer. The other side to Intopool’s business is manufacturing pipe and pipe fittings. In January this year, they installed a brand new extrusion line. Manufactured by Davis Standard, who are recognised as the global leader in high-performance
plastic and rubber extrusion converting specialists, this new equipment will produce pipe in PVC and ABS plus a wide range of other profiles such as linerlock. It will also enable the company to manufacture their AquaSpoiler in-house leading to cost savings which can be passed on to distributors and customers.
