Bought by Remy Cointreau in 2012, the distillery makes single malts, which are designated as Bruichladdich if unpeated and Port Charlote if heavily peated, with those designated Octomore being super-heavily peated. Bruichladdich has a Glasgow base in Blythswood Square. Burn Stewart Distillers,


which has its head office in East Kilbride, describes itself as a fully integrated Scotch whisky producer and brand owner with three distilleries and a strong portfolio of whisky brands. Its three distilleries are at Deanston in Doune, Perthshire; Bunnahabhain on the Isle of Islay; and Tobermory on the Isle of Mull. Its brands are Black Botle, Deanston, Scotish Leader and
