BUSINESS SERVICES ACADEMY LAUNCH


The City of Glasgow College Faculty of Business is delighted to announce the launch of the Business Services Academy. The Academy will be working closely with a wide range of industry partners to provide a range of support functions, which will include recruitment and vetting services linking the further education talent pipeline with both national and international employers and organisations. The Academy is currently


providing advisory services across a number of professional areas. These include keynote speaking on equalities and diversity and consultancy for various local and national partner organisations in the areas of professional training and education. Looking across the full


spectrum of business and sector services, the Business Services


Academy is currently playing an effective role within the voluntary sector in Scotland, with Academy staff taking their place as permanent members on a number of advisory panels. They are providing advice and consultation services in the area of work readiness and employability training through the embedding of work-related skills. The Academy is committed to


delivering a broad range of services that are beneficial to employers, to ensure a highly skilled and diverse workforce to drive future innovation and growth, both regionally and nationally.
