Te commit- tee works closely with DATIA Manage- ment to ensure we have quality speakers for the conference and webinars, topics/ sessions and updating DATIA course materials and information. Te Education Commitee works each


year to ensure DATIA’s Annual Conference and Exposition is even more successful than the last. Tis year’s conference—held at the Arizona Biltmore and Spa in Phoenix, AZ in May 2014—had an atendance of more than 700 with more than 65 exhibitors, DATIA’s highest atendance yet. Te DATIA 2015 Annual Conference, “Your International Gateway for Connections,” will take place at the Trump Doral Resort and Spa in Miami, FL from June 2–5, 2015. Each year, DATIA Management calls for proposals from presenters, which the Education Commit- tee then uses to help select the sessions and speakers who present at the conference. Te conference agenda has been announced and is available at datia.org. The Education Committee also works


throughout the year to ensure DATIA is offering the industry exclusive oppor- tunities for superb education. Through DATIA’s Webinar Series, participants can gain or expand on their knowledge of im- portant industry topics. While our 2015 Webinar Series has been announced, if

Lisa Ruehle has been actively involved in drug-free workplace programs since 1998, in both small and large companies. As the DER for a major start-up airline, Lisa


created their drug free workplace program, and was responsible for service agent selection and the overall program compliance. Lisa currently serves on the DATIA Board of Directors. She is the DATIA national trainer and primary author of the “Building an Effective Supervisor Training Program” course. She is also teaches the DATIA Ins & Outs of Drug Testing course. She also serves as Co-chairman of the DATIA Education Committee.
