have met a real need in bringing your work to a wider audience and helping us all appreciate the talent of others, with a stimulus to find ways to adapt their skill for our own circumstances. Our lives are changing too and Sue and I can no longer continue to lead our on-line journal, as we take on roles within the sector to effect change and development. We are delighted to be handing on the work we began to a regular contributor, James Hempsall, whose national connections will help to sustain this valuable network:

Saying and then committing to print helps us achieve clarity for the professional values that drive our practice. Journaling has helped us all understand this privately; writing for each other does that publicly. Our private and public belief in subverting professional status to galvanise community leadership in collective service for children and families remains firm as we address what comes next.
