LAURA ALLEN & LUCY Known for her pet portraits, Laura is a gifted pho- tographer, who donates services to the SPCA Tampa Bay, Animal Coalition of Tampa and the Heart Gallery. We have worked with her since our first issue published in 2006.


ELIZABETH BAIRD, DVM, KEEVA RUE & STITCH Elizabeth has been practicing veterinary medicine for 20+ years. She is certified through the Emergency Animal Rescue Service (EARS) and a Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner (CVPP).


SAMANTHA ECKHAUS & ACE Samantha enjoys photographing nature in the wild. With people and pets, she manages to capture special moments that often go unnoticed. She helps us cover and photograph Central Florida dog events.


TIMOTHY D. HODGE & AMELIA Dr. Hodge oversees medical care at clinics in Downtown Tampa’s Harbourside District and North Tampa’s Cross Creek. Amelia, a Shiba Inu, is being fostered by the Cross Creek clinic.


LON MARTIN, ROSIE & GUINNESS Lon’s musings on her incorrigible Corgis grow funnier each issue. See what these two Corgis have been up to in the latest Dogs in the City col- umn, which appears on the last page of The New Barker.


DENISE MUELLER & KATZE Denise volunteers her photography services to Manatee County Animal Services Picture Them Adopted program. Denise helps us cover and photograph Manatee and Sarasota County events.


DIANE ROSENBERG & WILLOW A crossing guard in Gainesville, Diane says Willow adopted her four years ago. Joined at the hip, as Diane describes it, the two of them help us cover and photograph events in the Gainesville area.


EMILY SCHLANSKY-MUSCATELLO & DOLLY As a consultant, she works with trainers, veterinary clinics and other pet-related professionals to help them attain success. She has been fea- tured on Animal Planet and in the Wall Street Journal.


HEATHER SCHULMAN & PUCK Since 2009, Heather has provided assistance in event coverage and story development throughout Central Florida. She brings fresh perspectives to our worldview of canines.


TINAVALANT, CHLOE & DRU An award-winning photographer of weddings, events, dogs and people. A self-proclaimed dog event diva, she helps us cover events and story devel- opments in South Florida.


KARENYANNON & ASTI A graduate of Rollins College, Karen lives in Sanford with Asti, the undisputed love of her life. Adopted at two months old, with many health issues, she is now the picture of health.
