Cotswold Arcadians’ 2014 production Falstaff, a compilation of scenes from Henry IV and The Merry Wives of Windsor, will be directed by Jonathan Vickers and performed in the grounds of Hatherop Castle School from Monday 21 July to Saturday 26 July 2014. The gardens are open for guests to enjoy their picnics in the beautiful surroundings before experiencing first-class theatre under covered, tiered grandstands.

Falstaff has been accepted as part of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Open Stages programme, which means the group will have access to RSC resources for workshops and mentoring. This honour follows on from the 2013 production Measure for Measure being awarded the Joan Hawkins Award for the best Shakespeare production at October’s Rose Bowl Awards (the South West’s Amateur Theatre ‘Oscars’).

Tickets are on sale from 1st May
