Deamer gave a speech at the luncheon, welcoming the 16 Past Presidents of the Region who attended the event, giving special mention to Past Presidents Alan Daniels and Cecil Underwood, who were unable to attend but sent their best wishes to members. Past NE Region Presidents at the event were:


Gordon Hare, Tony Cook, Brian Exley, Bob Smith, Roger Britton, Tony Price, Tom Longdon, Jack Holiday, Geoff Squires, Derek Longcake, Mike Clow,


Les Brown, Danny Moffatt, Trevor Show, Nigel Deamer and Neil Ogilvie. Following the celebration luncheon, Honorary


Regional Treasurer Bob Smith gave a talk full of historical facts relating to the PDA and the time of its inception, while Norman Nuttall from the North West Region gave a humorous view of the North East Region to the assembled members. Chief Executive of the PDA, Neil Ogilvie, said:

our members, while ensuring that they uphold the standards required to display our quality marque, which tells customers our members are experts in
