MIDAS Pro ➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤ I

f you attended MAB’s recent “Back to the Future” Conference you will remember that Donna reiterated that MAB would not undertake any project unless it supported one or more of our key objectives:

➤ Significantly improving the customer experience ➤ Maximising sales ➤ Making your life easier

MAB believes our work on MIDAS Pro will satisfy all three requirements.

Whilst the technical development of existing MIDAS has been vast, its interface and dated navigation just won’t do anymore. This next generation of MIDAS Pro has been specifically designed to support the sales process and customer experience by enabling you to sit alongside customers and share information, rather than just advising/completing forms.

Continuing to use MIDAS as you currently do will not help you significantly increase protection sales, and so integrating MIDAS Pro into your sales process is essential.

To support our work and the feedback from the pilot groups, we also commissioned external experts to review the system and have made some radical changes which now enable the system to be used as an interactive sales tool. And, more importantly, it is now able to be used in front of the client, on any device and even operate screen to screen if you are telephone based.

We have stripped out the confusing jargon that littered old MIDAS, used customer-friendly language throughout and the “long list of pointless questions” in the Fact-Find are now gone!

MIDAS Pro - Features

MIDAS Pro is now completely web-based which means no more lengthy downloads every time there is an update and it can now be run on any web-enabled device; be it on your iPad, Mac, tablet or simply in your office on your desktop!

We have completely re-written the Point-of–Sale system module for Phase 1 with improved functionality including:

➤ Quicker initial lead capture

➤ A vastly reduced Fact-Find to include visual sales aids and interactive tools to help you sell more at point of sale whilst fully engaging with the client and including them in the journey

➤ Automatic indicative life quotes as you work through the Fact-Find

➤ Ability to quote for menu plans and multiple life products at any one time

➤ Ability to request one quote and get results for both Paymentshield’s panel of providers and L&G

➤ Suitability letter builder that will dramatically cut down the amount of time needed to produce the letter and a much improved customer presentation of the advice you have given

Timescales:

➤ 1st Phase launch of the Point-of-Sale system in April 2014 ➤ 2nd Phase work commences on the diary and administration sections of the system after that. We envisage that this will take around eight months

1st April!

We have scrapped the way the current suitability letter is produced and we have created a new suitability letter builder – making it much quicker and easier for you to complete.

More information is pulled through from various parts of MIDAS Pro to explain what the client has taken, why they have done so and the consequences of not taking out cover. This means the amount of information you have to complete manually is cut down dramatically.

The builder will only ask you to edit the information required and it will then create a report for the client showing what has been recommended and why.

We have been working closely with a user group of advisers to make sure that what we are building is what you want.
