is registered for chickens for fattening, turkeys, minor avian species and piglets. Calsporin® contains
viable spores of Bacillus subtilis C-3102 and is with a content of 1.0 x 1010
cfu / gram highly concentrated. To meet the demands of practice
it is extremely heat-stable and has a proven stability in the presence of coccidiostats, therapeutic antibiotics and organic acids. The complex and unique colony form guaranties high bacterial abilities. Calsporin®
in shifting microbial colonisation in favour of mainly Lactobacillus spp., and in turn; the proportion of pathogens such as Coliforms and Clostridium spp. will reduce. In this context, Calsporin®

ProPhorce™ SR consists of butyrins which are glycerol esters promotes and stabilizes an optimal intestinal microflora
of butyric acid. Because the butyrins in ProPhorce™ SR are in the ester-form, they are effective throughout the digestive tract. Butyrins undergo a similar digestion as oils and fats (triglycerides), being hydrolyzed after the stomach in the intestinal tract by lipases. Because of the way butyrins are synthetized there is no residual butyric acid odor. No release of butyric acid occurs during storage or when getting in contact with moisture.
