NEW SEMINAR TOPICS FOR 2014
The DCE MEET The EXPERTS Technical Forums are the most committed of the CPD Networking Roadshows that help deliver Technical Updating.
DCE was the first regional event organiser to include technical presentations as far back as 1993 - when CPD became an issue. Since then we have staged more than 2,000 CPD eligible events all over the British Isles. Now 20 years on we are still managing to find new locations to host the DCE events.
The Autumn 2013 tour will see some really interesting locations. In addition to some ‘big city’ events in London, Leeds, Glasgow and so on, we will be spreading the CPD message to some of the more distant corners of mainland UK with presentations in Inverness, Aberystwyth, Milford Haven, Newton Abbot, Carlisle and Dover. 2014 already has new presentations lined up!
We are in the process of gathering the seminar content for the 2014 events and, hopefully, will have the early dates well appointed by Christmas this year.
COMPLETELY FREE TO ATTEND
Each event is financed by the presenting companies. Manufacturers, specialist service providers and suppliers have always been important sources of technical and educational information for specifiers and other building and construction professionals. It is these companies whose products need to comply with the latest Building Regulations and who innovate with materials, performance and application. The DCE events simply offer opportunities for the flow of information.
Many of the ‘regular’ DCE presenters are looking at their seminar presentations with a view to serious updating and, in some cases, completely different content. Obviously, some companies’ presentations are just as relevant now as they were many years ago and their product performance just as effective so the talks are still of considerable interest. Others will have had new improvements, applications and, perhaps, compliance with new regulations so their presentations will change.
