BUILDING WITH XELLA: FAST AND EFFICIENTLY
WITH LARGE BUILDING BLOCKS AND PANELS
Xella wants to help you work as fast and efficiently as possible. Large format building blocks and panels such as Silka elements. Ytong internal walls panels and Hebel industrial wall panels allow you to construct several square metres at a time. Xella also offers considerable added value in the preparation stage, for example by assisting you with your calculation and drawings and delivering building materials to the construction site already sorted and made to measure. This saves you time, work and wastage!
Made to measure building with Silka elements
With Silka elements you can realise almost four times as many square metres per day as with alternative construction methods. Advantages of calcium silicate are, among others, excellent sound performance (due to a high volume weight/mass), substantial heat accumulation ability, considerable load-bearing capacity and a good fire resistance.
Silka is a lime-sand product, with a very smooth finish, capable of delivering significant onsite time and money savings. Any non standard sizes are factory cut minimizing wastage on site and saving time.
Silka elements offer you an alternative to block work and steel or concrete frame due to their inherent strength of 25N/mm2 combined with thin joint masonry.
Ytong internal wall panels allows you to build rooms at speed These aircrete wall panels are Floor to ceiling height equivalent to 1.2m2 of block work. Once erected they are immediately ready for the other trades. Their smooth finish makes them ideally suited to thin coat spray plaster another saving in time and money.
The Hebel industrial panels
These reinforced aircrete panels are excellent to build warehouses and production halls offering excellent fire protection and speed of build.
