Hello to our readers, advertisers and contributors. Phew what a scorcher it’s been this month! Who’d have anticipated the glorious weather of the last few weeks? I’ve actually got used to wearing sum- mer dresses and stepping out confidently without a coat or umbrella on standby. All the big Ciren events in July were great, the Phoenix Festival, The Cotswold Open Studios Bus Tour, The Corinium Radio Broadcast and the Cotswold Show. They all had many hours, days, weeks—even months of preparation, but the beautiful summer weather was definitely the icing on the cake. This month there’s the Ciren Rugby Club Beer Fest on the bank holiday weekend to look forward to, so go easy with that rain dance all you gardeners out there (myself included). Hurry up now and enter our competition on p49 to win two free passes for the weekend! The Butts Rare Breeds Farm p35, is a very good place to take your children over the holidays.
