JTA is an independent state agency providing public


transportation services. The agency also designs and constructs highways and bridges.


Bus – JTA manages all bus services in the greater Jacksonville area, with 180 buses traveling 56 routes around Duval County. The JTA Paratransit offers door-to- door service for disabled and disadvantaged riders. JTA has Park-n-Ride lots around the city with express service to Downtown Jacksonville. The Stadium Shuttle provides transportation to and from the stadium via three downtown and four suburban lots for sporting events. The Inter- County Shuttle Service connects with neighboring county transportation providers, including the Sunshine Bus Company in St. Augustine, to provide access to locations all over the First Coast. JTA also offers Community Shuttles with scheduled stops and premium curbside pick- ups by reservation. Community Shuttles run in the following areas: Arlington, the Beaches, Cecil Field, Dinsmore-River City Marketplace, Edgewood, Golfbrook, Mandarin, Northside, Ortega-NAS and Talleyrand.


Trolley – There are three trolley lines provided by JTA. These lines are the Bay Street Trolley, Beaches Trolley and Riverside Trolley. The Bay Street Trolley is in Downtown Jacksonville. The Riverside Trolley links Riverside to Downtown Jacksonville and the Avondale area. The Beaches Trolley operates during the summer months connecting Jacksonville Beach with Atlantic and Neptune beaches.


JTA Skyway – The Skyway is an automated transit system for easy and convenient access around Downtown Jacksonville. Trains depart every three minutes during peak times and every six minutes at other times. The Skyway is inter-connected with the trolley system to provide transportation to a more expanded area of Downtown Jacksonville.

Sunshine Bus Company is St. Johns County's public transit


that offers six different bus lines and a connector throughout the county. The Purple Line connects with JTA at the Avenues Mall in Jacksonville. The Sunshine Bus operates Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., though the Connector and Purple Line have extended hours.

AERONAUTICAL The Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) serves


Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia with approximately 200 arriving and departing flights each day. The airport features amenities such as free Wi-Fi and recharging stations in seating areas. First class and other elite travelers utilize the Preferred Passenger Lane, which shortens wait time for security screenings. The VIP Frequent Parking Program at JAX rewards passengers with free parking and retail discounts. Jacksonville, Cecil Airport (VQQ) is the Jacksonville Aviation Authority's (JAA) third general aviation airport and fourth airport overall. With easy access to air and rail connections and a deep-water port, Cecil Airport's facilities are ideally suited for aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul operations, and a variety of aviation-related industrial and commercial developments. With an economic impact of more than $531 million, sustaining 5,437 aviation-related jobs, Cecil Airport is a significant economic engine for the local community.
