Richard Coburn

QUOTABLE: “I enjoy running on the road courses, but I’m stronger on the ovals. My goal is to get into the top ten on the road events, and I think we can challenge for a podium when we get onto the ovals.”

Richard Coburn

QUOTABLE: “We’re going to build on what we accomplished in 2012. We’ve got three strong cars in the hauler, and five new motors ready to drop in them. I’m personally in the best shape, mentally and physically, that I’ve ever been in, and I’m ready to take everything the car will give me this year.”

In 2012 Dowler cracked into the Top ten in the final standings, riding a record of five top ten finishes, including a podium result (third) on the Barrie Speedway 1/3- mile oval. Dowler will have new crew chief Lawrence Roy calling the shots from the pitbox this year.

Richard Coburn

QUOTABLE: “We are running our own program this year, so we’re basically starting from scratch. But I am familiar with the cars, and I know the tracks, so we’re going to be trying to podium every weekend. Our road course program is pretty good, but the oval tracks play better to my strengths, so overall, I think we’re in pretty good shape.”
