PICK up a Llanelli now open for business leaflet jam-packed with excellent incentives and offers. The leaflet, produced in partnership with SWW Media, will be available in and around the town centre during the Discover Llanelli opening on Thursday, June 6 and Friday, June 7. Offers will also apply to Saturday, June 8.
The four page A4 leaflet will also be printed and inserted into the Llanelli Star, Carmarthen Journal and Evening Post the week of the opening.
All special offers will include a voucher which can be uploaded to the new Llanelli app being developed now. The app will contain information and offers for Llanelli town centre. More information on this new technology for the town centre will be published in the Llanelli Star.
Look out for your Discover Llanelli leaflet – it’s one more excellent reason for you to visit this new look town.

What is on What’s On
What’s On Thursday June 6:
• The Official Opening of the new Llanelli town centre. Join in the celebrations and the official opening being performed by the Chairman of Carmarthenshire County Council, Cllr Terry Davies.
• Llanelli OutdoorMarket. A bigger and better outdoor market will take place on Thursday and Saturday. Visit your local market in the heart of your town for a friendly Welsh welcome and all your shopping needs.
• Who do you think you are? exhibition at Llanelli library. Llanelly House recently launched a competition to find how people depict Llanelli. See more than 250 fantastic entries on display at the library throughout May and June.
• Geocaching taster sessions at the library. Learn more about the electronic treasure hunt that you can play along with on your iphone or ipad. Come along and see what you may find.
Friday 7 June:
• Ffwrnes Open Day. A great opportunity to experience the new theatre and find out more about the summer programme and numerous activities held by community groups.
• Business and employment day. Come to the Showcase in Stepney Street and find out how we can support you in setting up your own business, or help look for work in and around Llanelli. Un Sir Gar will be available throughout the day to give you help in getting started.
Saturday 8 June:
• Royal Welsh March. The Royal Welsh Regiment will marching through Llanelli, starting from the Selwyn Samuel Centre at 12noon and going to the Town Hall where there will be a parade inspection. From there, they will march up Church Street, Bridge Street, Thomas Street, Park Street and Stepney Street before making their way back to the Selwyn Samuel Centre.
