apstone Medical Associates has installed a new device to offer non-invasive body contouring services. The low-level laser tech- nology is an FDA cleared, non-invasive and pain-free procedure that can reduce fat. According to Dr. Jeffrey Backenstoes, cli- ents can lose three to nine inches of cumu- lative body fat in as little as six treatments. Capstone Medical Associates is now scheduling consultations for the new service.

A clinical migraine study conducted in fall 2012 by David B. Sullivan, a doctor of chiropractic, diplomate of the Ameri- can Chiropractic Neurology Board and owner of Keystone Chiropractic Neurology, in Mechanicsburg, will be published in the Journal of Functional Neurology, Rehabilitation, and Ergonomics, Volume 3, Issue 2, in the case study sec- tion. The expected print date is June 2013. Sullivan says that the therapy used in the study can be ap- plied to patients experiencing a migraine headache, and that some will enjoy quick relief without the use of surgery or drugs.
