Whole Life Boost Natural Foods
by Beth Davis L
ast year, Chris Engel purchased Good Stewards Natural
Foods, and after a com- plete remodel, reopened the store in April 2012 as Whole Life Boost Natural Foods. Since then, Engel and his staff have been focused on helping indi- viduals maintain a healthy lifestyle and assisting others to start on the road to optimal health through nutrition, educa- tion and life-changing products. Whole Life provides organic whole foods, nutritional supplements, vitamins, natural household products, holistic health items and an organic smoothie bar. “Our smoothies are all natural—no added sugar or syrups,” says Engel. “We use fresh, local ingredients when we can and every smoothie is made to order. We even offer a vegan smoothie and can cater to those who have nut allergies or are lactose intolerant—you name it— and they will all taste delicious.” An immunity, protein or en- ergy “boost shot” can be added to any
smoothie to add extra pep to the day. The drinks can be used as a meal replacement or as part of a weight-loss program. For individuals seeking to shed pounds, Whole Life sells the latest Dr. Oz weight-loss supplements. In addition, a nutritionist
and a staff of natural food enthusiasts can teach folks how easy it can be to detox as a step toward losing weight. “Many people try juicing fads, and although they do lose weight, when they start eating real food again, they gain it all back,” explains Engel. “The trick to weight loss with our method is to clean out your system with simple herbal supplements. This will not only help you lose the weight, but your body will be able to absorb more nutrients.”
