Hoboken Wellness Spa Celebrates Grand Reopening S

is celebrating its grand reopening. Doshas are biological energies found throughout the human body and mind that govern all physical and mental processes. “They provide every living being with an individual blueprint for health and fulfillment,” say owners Surinder Singh and Mandeep Hunjan.

The spa, located in the heart of Hoboken, also offers ear candling, herbal steam baths, massage and micro- current energy treatments for natural facelifts. “Our special and unique treatments encourage detoxification of mind, body and spirit and use all-natural ingredients such as aromatic essential oils, cucumber, ginger, rose petals and coconut milk,” advises Hunjan. Workshops and seminars will be announced soon.

Second Annual Hoboken Green Fair


he city of Hoboken will host its second annual Green Fair from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., May 11, at Pier A


Park, along the Hoboken waterfront. City administration and community members make up the city of Hoboken Green Team organizing the fair, which features live music and organic food vendors.


The Green Fair is intended to introduce sustainable lifestyle choices to the community, raise awareness regarding environmental concerns, and demonstrate how consumers can reduce their impact on the Earth by selecting sustainable, eco-friendly products and services. The methods can reduce energy consumption, conserve water and limit our dependence on fossil fuels. The Green Team is currently soliciting green businesses and nonprofit vendors whose mission align with environmental sustainability. The team is also reaching out to involve the local arts community.
