May 10-12 Spring Thaw ALL DISTRICTS
The spring show lineup will begin with our NBHA Spring Thaw being held at Clinton REACH this year. Stalls are limited, so we will be taking our sponsors first of course, and then anyone else wish- ing stalls can send me the deposit and I will put you on the list. We are also having our fundraiser, the popular silent auction so bring an item and get two free exhibitions. You will also be entered into the draw for a free open entry. You can use it to get a rebate at that show, or an open entry at any other show, including Finals. We have the Slots, both barrels and poles for the saturday night. The calcutta is always a fun time. Remember that our Spring Thaw event is an all dis- trict pointed event for the Saturday and Sunday classes .

Spring is just around the corner and with that show season will be on! We have some new shows, and some old favorites returning. So far for this year, in district 1 we have a return of the Black Gold Barrel Bonanza on Saturday, June 8 & Sunday, June 9. It is being held at 2917 Kelly Road, Oil Springs, Ontario. Saturday evening is hav- ing an open barrels and a polebend- ing. NBHA sanctioned events are being held Sunday, with a full slate of events co-sanctioned. District 3(tentatively) and 4 are co-sanction- ing the NBHA events at the Lindsay Rodeo. That will run on the Satur- day May 25 and Sunday May 26. There will be all the NBHA classes, along with a polebending class each day. We are also work- ing on having a green as grass class for the local clubs and new riders and of course there will be peewee for the very young riders! Everyone is welcome to come and try us out, enjoy the sorting events and then of course, the rodeo. District 3 has their first event(tentatively) June 21-22 at Powasson. Sept 14-
Our sponsorship material is currently being updated, but you can download last years from our website. Remember that there are athlete portions of any sponsorship that go directly back to the athlete who gets the sponsorships. As well as the listed sponsorships, there are also award sponsorships that will be added to the package this year. For our finals you can sponsor a class, a day, or the awards for Open, Youth and Senior districts or finals awards including Polebending, Futurity and Green as Grass.
