FOUNDED in 1850, Bovey Tracey Cricket Club is located on the South East edge of Dartmoor with picturesque views of the moor as a back drop. The club is ideally situated being within a short walking distance of the town and is ideally located just off the A38 for those coming from further afield. Bovey Tracey Cricket Club currently has four men’s teams of which compete in the Devon Cricket League. The 1st & 2nd XIs play at the highest level in their respective Premier Divisions. The 3rd XI compete in the 'D' 2nd XI West Division. The newly formed 4th XI will play in the ‘F’ 2nd XI West Division. When Cup matches allow, we also put out a Sunday XI who play friendly
matches against local opposition as well as touring teams. Bovey Tracey C.C. also has a vibrant ladies team. Additionally, we have six junior teams from ages 11 to 15 who compete in their respective age groups in the South Devon Youth League. On a Friday evening in the summer you will have over 150 Colts training whilst their parents are relaxing on the sidelines with some food and drink provided by the tea ladies and barman of Bovey Tracey Cricket Club.
