30/123, 57/15B, 36/33, 57/16, 57/17 FFOSLAS RACECOURSE, CARWAY) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2012.
On the 11th March 2013 Carmarthenshire County Council confirmed the above Order.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to stop up the public footpaths on the former Ffoslas Mine site and create a bridleway as shown on the Order map.
A copy of the confirmed Order and the order map may be seen, free of charge, at the Regeneration & Leisure Department, Countryside Recreation Unit, Mynydd Mawr Woodland Park, Heol Hirwaun Olau, Tumble, Llanelli, from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on any weekday. Copies of the Order and map may be bought there at a price of 50p.
The Order comes into force on the 22nd April 2013, but if any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity, or that any of the provisions contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above act, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or any regulation made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, within 6 weeks from the date on which Notice is first published as required by Paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 of that Act.

On the 11th March 2013, Carmarthenshire County Council confirmed the above Order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert public footpaths 7/21 and 7/22 through the Dolaucothi Estate, Pumsaint, as shown on the Order map.
A copy of the Order as confirmed and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the Countryside Recreation Unit, Mynydd Mawr Woodland Park, Tumble, Llanelli, from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on any weekday. Copies of the Order and map may be bought there at a price of 50 pence. Postal copies may also be obtained at a price of £5.00.
Any person who wishes to claim compensation under Section 28 (as applied by Section 121 (2) of the 1980 Act for depreciation or damage for disturbance arising as a result of the coming into force of the Order must make a claim in writing to Mr Ian Jones, Head of Leisure & Sport, Business Resource Centre, Parc Amanwy, New Road, Ammanford, Carmarthenshire, SA18 3EP, and serve it by delivering it at, or sending it by pre-paid post to that address not later than 15th September 2013.

The above Order, made on the 28th February 2013, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the public footpath at Moelfre Uchaf, Croesyceiliog as shown on the Order map.
A copy of the Order and the order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the Countryside Recreation Unit, Mynydd Mawr Woodland Park, Heol Hirwaun Olau, Tumble Llanelli, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on any weekday. Copies of the Order and map may be bought there at a price of 50p.
Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to Mr Ian Jones, Head of Leisure & Sport, Regeneration & Leisure Department, Countryside Recreation Unit, Mynydd Mawr Woodland Park, Heol Hirwaun Olau, Tumble, Llanelli, SA14 6HU quoting the above reference, not later than the 22nd April 2013 Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Carmarthenshire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the National Assembly for Wales for confirmation, any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.

Appointment of External Voting Member
Carmarthenshire County Council invites applications from interested persons for the position of External Voting Member of its Audit Committee which has a key oversight role in relation to the Authority’s approach to Corporate Governance, in particular, those aspects relating to Financial Management, Internal Control and Risk Management.
Ideally, applicants will have had some Business or Public Sector experience and an interest in promoting good Corporate Governance. Applicants should be able to demonstrate objectivity and independence.
Expenses (including an Attendance Allowance) are payable for attending meetings. It is envisaged that there will be a minimum of 4 Audit Committee Meetings per annum.
