Best Time to Visit Burma is a tropical country and has three seasons. Rangoon, Bagan and coastal areas tend to have higher temperatures and rainfall, whereas at higher altitudes, temperatures are slightly cooler and can drop down to zero at night. The main travelling season is September to April to avoid the monsoon.

Ancient and royal capitals Burma has a diverse history and rich culture, which is reflected in the former ancient cities and royal capitals that, in our opinion, are a must on any journey to Burma. Amarapura was the penultimate royal capital between 1783 and 1863 and Inwa served the country for some 400 years
between the 15th and 19th centuries. Visits to the towns’ monasteries are a must, as are fascinating trips to see cotton and silk weaving. You can also take excursions across the U Bein Bridge, made of 1000 teak wood posts, and to the Leaning Tower of Inwa. Activities: local craſt and cottage industry visits, city sightseeing
