Africa \ South Africa Inside information
Getting There National carrier South African Airways flies direct to Johannesburg and Cape Town, as does British Airways and Virgin Atlantic. Flying time is around 11 hours.
Best Time to Visit There is no wrong time to visit South Africa. November to March is hot, and a great time to safari and sightsee. May to October is whale-watching season and cooler on the south coast.
Combine it with... The Kingdom of Swaziland or head north into Namibia. Both will add variety to your African adventure and enable you to see another place in this vast and varied continent.
