Day 1 Fly to Hanoi. Day 2 Relax or begin your explorations of the city. Day 3 Tour of the city’s highlights including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, The Temple of Literature and the Old Quarter. Day 4 Sleep aboard a traditional junk as it cruises around Halong Bay. Day 5 Ride a horse and cart through Hanoi’s country lanes. Fly to Ho Chi Minh City. Day 6 Visit the Cu Chi tunnels for an insight into the life of the Viet Cong rebels. Day 7 Float along the Mekong Delta and meet local tradesmen who live off the river. Spend the night on a riverboat.
Day 8 Cruise along the river, bartering at the bustling floating markets. Day 9 Fly to Siem Reap, Cambodia, and discover the breath-taking temples of Angkor. Days 10 to 12 An in-depth exploration of the ruined city or a boat trip across Tonle Sap Lake. Days 13 & 14 Fly to the UK.
