Christmas would not be the same without the fun and thrills of a pantomime to lighten proceedings and this year, as always, Kent does not fail to disappoint. This winter is particularly exciting, with a number of household names in the world of showbiz and entertainment contributing to a range of productions all over the county.
STEVE McFadden – better known as bad- guy Phil Mitchell from Eastenders – leads the cast of this year’s pantomime at the Orchard Theatre. Dartford, as the wicked Abanazar. December 8 2012 – January 6 2013
SHANE Lynch from boy band Boyzone will play the panto baddie, Abanazar in Aladdin at the Stag Theatre, Sevenoaks. Joining him, in their first ever panto appearance, will be Twist and Pulse, the dance duo made famous by ITV1's Britain's Got Talent, playing Chinese Policemen. December 8 2012 – January 6 2013
THE Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury guarantees a feel-fantastic festive treat this Christmas with a host of stars including singer Gareth Gates, pop icon Toyah Willcox, children's favourite Katrina Bryan (CBeebies' Nina And The Neurons), The Marlowe's favourite funnyman Ben Roddy, local comedian Lloyd Hollett and West End star Faye Brookes.
