SCARY SPIDER CUPCAKES You will need:


12 chocolate cupcakes baked in black cake cases (You can use any traditional cake recipe)


 600g chocolate buttercream  200g black sherbet  Approximately 5m liquorice bootlaces cut into 5cm lengths


 24 purple, red or orange candy-coated sweets


 A large piping bag with a large round tube tip


1 Fill the large piping bag with the chocolate buttercream, pipe a mound in the centre of each cupcake and smooth down the sides to create a dome shape.


2 Decant the black sherbet into a shallow dish. Hold the cupcakes upside down and roll in the sherbet until completely covered.


3 Push eight lengths of liquorice into each spider for the legs and use two sweets for the eyes.
