SCARY SPIDER CUPCAKES You will need:
12 chocolate cupcakes baked in black cake cases (You can use any traditional cake recipe)
600g chocolate buttercream 200g black sherbet Approximately 5m liquorice bootlaces cut into 5cm lengths
24 purple, red or orange candy-coated sweets
A large piping bag with a large round tube tip
1 Fill the large piping bag with the chocolate buttercream, pipe a mound in the centre of each cupcake and smooth down the sides to create a dome shape.
2 Decant the black sherbet into a shallow dish. Hold the cupcakes upside down and roll in the sherbet until completely covered.
3 Push eight lengths of liquorice into each spider for the legs and use two sweets for the eyes.
