NORCOTTS CIDER, SOMERSET
The recently launched Norcotts range has been developed by cider expert Chris Norcott, who has worked exclusively in the cider business for 10 years.
Earlier this
year, Chris decided to invest his expertise into the creation of his own brand. Working with an established Somerset cider company, he has developed an interesting five-flavoured range designed to capitalise on the burgeoning market for fruit ciders, and offers something slightly different to the more traditional ciders available. Flavours include Elderflower, Cranberry and Raspberry and Orange in addition to a Pear and an Apple variety. Aimed at a discerning audience, the Norcott Cider collection is already available in a number of South West restaurants and bars, and is sure to be one to look out for in the future.

This Organic Vintage Cider is a fruity aromatic cider with great depth of flavour – made from 100% apple juice, using up to fifteen different varieties of bittersweet and bittersharp cider apples - from old organic orchards in Devon. A medium dry cider, lightly carbonated.
We made our name at Ashridge by producing Sparkling Ciders (Vintage and Devon Blush) using the traditional method. We have built on a long-standing tradition of cider-making combining traditional methods and contemporary tastes to produce some beautifully sophisticated, delicious ciders.

Healey’s Cyder Farm is a Cornish, family-owned cyder farm with a team passionate about producing premium craft cyders. Cyder is the traditional Cornish spelling for cider, and under the careful eye of brothers Sam and Joe Healey all apples are hand-picked, pressed in a traditional press house and the recipe is tweaked depending on the new crop’s sweetness and tannins. Their best seller is the Cornish Rattler Cyder, which is named after a variety of Cornish apple, ‘Rattler’, however the Healey’s Classic Oak Matured Cyder, with its lingering finish of oak and tropical fruits, is a delicious, refined cyder perfect to enjoy with a meal.
On what makes a good cider, Sam Healey, Operations Manager, Healey’s Cyder Farm replied “A good cyder is the combination of well-tended and nurtured apples, the highest quality standards and traditional skills, coupled with true flair and innovation.”
