STAR PICTURE
THE winner of this issue’s Star Picture is Evelyn Paterson.
This unusual photo of a double rainbow was taken from an upstairs window of her home in Knightswood. Well done to Evelyn, who wins £10 worth of shopping vouchers.

Our arborists are really busy, but we’ve asked them to trim the trees – and one in your neighbour’s garden too. The new meter box should be fitted any day now.
Dear the Key I phoned a few months ago about the guttering at the back and front doors of our close. Water from the gutters is still
pouring down
when we try to get out. The cladding on each
apex on the roof has still not been fixed. Can you help? Gerald McDonald, Corkerhill Place, Corkerhill. We arranged for City Building to fix the cladding on 9 July and the guttering the week after.
Dear the Key
The garden next door has trees coming over into my garden, which means I can’t get behind my hut at the back. It is also going on to the roof of my hut and garage. I would like it if you could help in cutting these back. A Smith,
Dochart Street, Riddrie.
We’ve been to see the arborists and they’ll be round as soon as they can.
Dear the Key
Your arborists did a fantastic job cutting back bushes in my back garden. But I was wondering if they could come back and cut back the large tree as well. It terrifies me every time we have strong winds as it towers above my house.
Joan Gray, Lamont Road, Balornock.
We’ve let our arborists know and they will be in touch soon.
Dear the Key We have a large tree in my back garden which sways dangerously in the wind. It

has ripped out the telephone lines of our neighbours. I am a pensioner and my husband is disabled. We’re afraid in case it falls and we are not able to get out of the way. Elizabeth and Charles MacAulay, Wallacewell Quadrant.
Our arborists cut back the dangerous tree. We’re also sending our team to tidy the garden and make it easier to maintain.
