NBHA Canada News
We had close to 60 Canadians that made the trip over the border June 22 - 24 to Midland Michigan for the 3rd Annual NBHA CanAm Supershow. There were 350+ entries in the Open 4-D. There were some pretty big names, like Lance Graves from Oklahoma that also made the trip as this show was a premier event. Many of our Canadians won divisions and earned cheques. The Fair- grounds is a wonderful facility with showers and water and hydro hookups. The arena footing was in great shape, there were some very quick runs. It certainly was great to see our friends again and hoot and holler for each other. The dance on Saturday night had a great turnout. Our big congrats goes out to Maddi McNiven who was the Average Sad- dle Winner for the weekend!!!

Just a reminder that our Finals this year will be held at Clinton. We are having a Green As Grass class both days with Average awards. You need to be a member in order to show at Finals. Everyone is welcome! We are only having a set number of stalls, so once they are all paid for, there wont be any more. So when the entry form comes out, if you want a stall, please send your payment in asap. All sponsors will be given the opportunity to choose their stalls and area first, so I will be in touch with you soon. Everyone else will be put on a list and after the sponsors, then you will be allotted a stall.
We are always looking for sponsors, and you can bring some in any time and still be credited with the Athlete portion. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask your district director or email me at

Canada Day was another fabulous show! We had 138 riders, and perfect weather. We would like to thank Fletchers Horse World for having us back, and the facilities were great. Everyone had fun, and again this year in the Foot Races on the Saturday night Snack and Race events we had some amazing runs. Thanks to all the good sports who paid up their $5 and entertained everyone! It makes for a fun get together.
