Beautiful weather, an idyllic setting and great hospitality made for another fantastic weekend of barrel racing on June 16th and 17th at Healey Falls Quarter Horses in Roseneath. Blake Vonda kicked off the weekend winning Saturday’s first 4 D on Just A Wee Dash in a sizzling time of 16.8. With the tem- perature rising on Sunday, Krystal Cairns proved she was hotter than the weather, laying down the fastest time of the weekend, a 16.5 with Bad Rick Real Sassy to win the Sunday 4D Barrels.

The Futurity spotlight this weekend shone on Chelsie Fother- ingham and Princess Cailey. The pair picked up the top cheque in Sunday’s 2nd go and won the futurity average for the weekend. Chelsie and Cailey took home a beautiful cooler from Double FF Racing, presented by Guylaine Paquin.
Jason White guided Turbulent Flight through the poles to take home top honours on both days for Poles in a time of 21.6 on Sun- day. Not to be outdone, Sierra White on Claire and Karenna White on Princess kept the winning streak going and took first and second in the 12 and under barrels on Saturday and Sunday.
