tion rounds, Caledon Fair visitors were treat- ed to a brilliant polo demonstration by mem- bers of the Toronto Polo Club in preparation for the annual Polo for Heart international tournament held the following weekend. Winners for each competition received champagne... which most generously shared with their ringside supporters. The Toronto North York Hunt Club narrowly defeating the hometown favorite Eglinton Caledon Hunt Club, taking home the brass plaque trophy which will be proudly displayed at the Hunt Club headquarters. Sports insiders maintain that next year will be a serious grudge match. Sunday was dominated by a massive turn-out for conformation on the line classes, driving competitions, the incredible feats at the Horse Pull Competition and the Pony Star Search event which serves as a qualifier for the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. The Caledon Fair, managed by the Cale- don Agricultural Society, is a 100% volunteer organisation with all funding used to maintain the property and upgrade the heritage build- ings which have showcased agriculture for generations to residents and visitors.
