FEDERATION COW AT McDONALD’S


WORLDWIDE EXPO The Florida Federation


of Fairs worked in con- junction with the Florida Dairy Farmers and Dairy Management Inc. to spon- sor the Federation’s Milka- ble cow for the McDon- ald’s Worldwide Event in Orlando in March. Ac- cording to Scott Wallin, Director of Producer Com- munications for DMI, the


booth was a tremendous hit and the cow was a big draw to get people into the area. The cow and Florida dairy farmer John Larson were the perfect combination for starting conversations with McDonald’s leaders about getting more dairy items on the menu! In many cases these were peo- ple that do not have a direct link to agriculture so it is im- portant that the dairy industry had a strong presence.
