The 2012 Hall of Fame inductee for 2012 is Ellany Johnson shown above right receiving the plaque from last year’s recipient Vicki Chouris from the South Flori- da Fair. Ellany is Exhibit & Concession Manager and Office Manager at the Florida Strawberry Festival. Ellany start- ed in 1972 as an exhibit booth owner and went on to be show tent chairman, ticket office manager, and adminis- trative office manager. She served on many committees with the Florida Fed- eration of Fairs since 1993. She chaired the welcoming committee, the hospitality committee. She was Secretar- y/Treasurer and First Vice President. Before finding her niche in the Fair business Ellany


owned several businesses in Plant City, including Good Times Café, One Stop Bridal Shop, Gino’s Pizza and Christian Book Store. Ellany graduated from Turkey Creek High School. She


is the proud mother of Brenda and Mark….and “we’ll let her tell you about her grandchildren.” Congratulations Ellany in joining the distinguished members of the Florida Federation of Fairs Hall of Fame!
