JourneyAmerica Rider Confirms Two Horses
Calgary, Alberta- Filipe Masetti, the founder of Journey America, has confirmed the two mounts for his 12 country, 16,000km ride from Calgary to Brazil. The journey begins July 2012 and is expected to conclude two years later, a grueling trip for both man and beast.
The first horse has been donated by Copper Spring Ranch in Montana. Bruiser is a 5 year-old 15.3 hand sorrel gelding. His long stride and smooth gait ensure a pleasurable ride through a variety of terrain. The second horse is a flashy palomino gelding from Weaver Quarter Horses in Montana. Frenchmans Tru Angel is a 9-year old full of raw strength and power.
Collectively, these two geldings will make the trek through North, Central and South Ameri- ca, along with Filipe. Over the course of two years, Filipe will interview people from across the continents about issues of animal and human wel-
