Production Wizard has appointed Max Moore to the position of chief executive. Moore joins from ad- exchange business AdJug, where he was part of the founding manage- ment team. He has more than 12 years busi-


ness start-up experience covering mobile, video, web search and, most recently, display.


Moore has been brought in to build on the launch phase of


Production Wizard and expand the business model. He said: “We are defining ‘production’ as a group of people coming together to do something, doing that thing and dispersing thereafter. Through this definition, we are including TV, film and events businesses as potential partners.”


GREG BARRETT AND MITCH MITCHELL TECHNICOLOR CREATIVE SERVICES UK


Greg Barrett (left) has been appointed director for film and post-production services at Techni- color Creative Services UK, where he will lead and manage film serv- ices, post-production and client services teams. Barrett has worked at Midnight Transfer, Deluxe, Framestore, Reliance Mediaworks and, most recently, Sohonet, where he was chief strategy officer. Mitch Mitchell (right) has


taken on the role of head of imaging and archive services. Reporting to Barrett, Mitchell will lead and manage the restora- tion, scanning and film-out departments across Technicolor’s Pinewood and Soho facilities.

PAULWILKES, CHRIS POTTER AND GRAHAM KIRKMAN HALO Post house Halo has recruited Paul Wilkes to the role of head of special projects. Halo owner and chief executive John Rogerson said: “Paul’s remit is to bring all technical elements of our fast- growing company together in a coherent fashion.” The former head of broadcast


and integration at ChilliBean has also been given the task of developing new technical infra- structure and workflows for the London facility. He will work closely with new recruit and former Envy employee Chris Potter, who has joined Halo as chief engineer. Wilkes and Potter will be based


at Halo’s new Noel Street premises. Conch Award-winning audio mixer Graham Kirkman, previously of Evolutions, has also joined Halo. He will work along- side the current sound team of nine across Halo’s three Central London sites.


GRAHAM PITMAN YOSPACE Video content distributor Yospace has appointed Graham Pitman as chairman of


its board. Pitman was one of the founding directors of Pro-Bel and led its merger with Snell and Wilcox. He is now deputy chair- man of Snell. Pitman is also vice- chairman of the International Association of Broadcasting Manufacturers. Yospace said the appointment “reflects the critical convergence between the tradi- tional broadcast industry and the world of IP distribution”. Yospace chief executive Tim

GARY SMITH SIS SIS has appointed Gary Smith to the new role of chief operating officer and member of the board. He will be based at the com- pany’s new offices in Salford. Smith joins SIS from Canada’s


Bell Video Group, where he was president and looked after the company’s satellite television business and IPTV service. Prior to that, he held senior positions with BSkyB in the UK. Chief executive David


Holdgate said: “The role of chief operating officer supports me in running the business and Gary will take over my day-to-day reporting lines for the two divi- sional managing directors: George Irvine and Dave Meynell.”

HHB Communications’ Soho based post-produc- tion office Scrub has appointed Devin Work- man to the role of sales executive. Workman previ- ously held the position of Avid and Euphonix prod- uct specialist. He was part of the


team at Euphonix that launched the Artist Series control surfaces. At Avid, he developed the latest Pro Tools Application Set for Artist Control and the System 5-MC.
