and problem-solving capacity. In this workshop, participants will engage in a variety of exercises, demonstrations, and dialogue designed to increase brain integration. This workshop is open to anyone who wishes to learn how to “act on instinct” or “trust one’s gut” or many other abilities that originate in underused regions of the brain. Some of these exercises will open pathways to emotional experiencing. Others will open pathways to greater emotional self- regulation. With increased brain regulation, what seemed like a one-way street suddenly transforms into two-way communication within the brain. This workshop will include informa- tion on modern brain science, presented in a logical and orderly way. At the same time, partic- ipants are likely to achieve understandings that are difficult to define.
