LOVE STAR! This statement is often repeated by STAR parents, participants and staff. What is STAR? An acronym
for Summer Theatre Arts Repertory, established in 1985 to bring youth and their parents to the Gavilan Campus during the summer and provide a summer jobs for aspiring theatre artists and students attending the college. This year STAR has selected Ms. Katie Hipol to be the Artistic Director of STAR 2012. It is an important STAR milestone because Ms. Katie was a “STAR kid” when she was 10 years old. In 2008 she became a STAR Leader and in 2010 she was STAR Production Director
