INDUSTRY NEWS Four times lucky!
Smurfit Kappa UK is celebrating the fourth win in 12 months for its unique Evo-Stik ‘Sticks-Like’ promotional pack design, following wins at the 2011 Starpack Awards and 2010 UK Packaging Awards. The innovative E- Flute corrugated container has also been awarded the highest international packaging tribute with a 2011-2012WorldStar award. The clever ‘Sticks-Like’ promotional pack consists of a one-piece, wraparound blank, holding three 290ml cartridges of Evo-Stik ‘Sticks-Like’ all weather adhesive. The packaging was designed to be equally as tough as the trade-only, high performance adhesive it holds. It has reversible spring tabs at each pack end and secure, grip-point hand holes on the pack sides, to prevent the heavy weight contents spilling out at the point of purchase.
