and IAFE Zone II Meeting will again be held at the beauti- ful Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Florida from May 17-19. Happy Norris, Federa- tion President and Dan West, Program Chairman and the Convention Program Committee have a great Convention planned for you. Following last year’s successful format, the IAFE Zone II


meeting will again be held in conjunction with the Florida Federation Convention. This will be a great opportunity for our Florida Fairs to meet new friends and network with old acquaintances. It will also be a great opportunity for our Associates to have even greater exposure to even more people! The Convention starts out with the 12th Annual Giles Ellis


Memorial Golf Tournament on May 16th at the prestigious Slammer & Squire course at the World Golf Village. This year’s Convention will kick off with an awesome


President’s Party honoring Happy Norris and all the past Federation Presidents. So be ready to come for some “Rockin’ ‘n’ Boppin’ as we celebrate “Oh Happy Days” (get it?) Be sure to come dressed in your best 50’s attire –


Convention Hotel Reservations


Hotel Reservations can be made by calling 888-789- 3090. To ensure the group rate of $135.00 per guest- room ($185 for One Bedroom suite), you must identify the group name, Florida Federation of Fairs & Livestock Shows, and make your reservation no later than May 1, 2012. You can also make reservations through their online reser- vation system on the Federation website.

Party when the Associates treat us with entertainment and fun! The Associate’s Night also has a new format – it be- gins earlier and will feature another array of great show- cases. The meetings will start on Thursday, May 17th with the


Trade Show and table topics and continue through the 19th with 20 round table discussions, 20 educational workshops, a fabulous Trade Show, and awesome showcases. There will be great opportunities to network in the Hospitality Suite and the Zone II Business Meeting will be on Saturday morning. So be sure to Mark Your Calendars for May 17th – 19th in St. Augustine, FL.
