County Fair & Exposition will be celebrating its 61st year as South Florida’s most popular family entertainment staple, including 18 days of concerts, thrilling rides, games, food, live entertainment, youth agriculture programs and student exhibits. The Fair will kick off with “Extreme Opening Weekend,” featuring boxing, MMA, WWE/FCW, boxing matches and Latin Grammy Winner Sie7e live in concert. In addition to its exciting opening weekend, “Friday Nights ROCK!”, “Saturday Nights…LIVE!” and “Sunday FunDays A-LIVE!” return with entertainment
What’s New at The Fair™ in 2012? From March 15 to April 1, 2012, The Miami-Dade
for all ages. Also new in 2012, for only $15, fans will experience the
thrills of hundreds of rides faster than ever before by skip- ping the regular lines. Each ride will have a separate ex- press lane allowing guests to move faster to the rides. The “Express Access” pass will be available for purchase each day of The Fair at the Ride Ticket Booths, and is also now available at
www.fairexpo.com. Quantities are limited. On an internal level, the Fair will be implementing a new
David Woo of the California State Fair. Mr. Woo and his team will be working with The Fair and its vendors to en- sure cash handling and reporting procedures are secure and comprehensive. In addition to the California State Fair, Mr. Woo is also the Food and Beverage Auditor for the Calaveras County Fair, Sacramento County Fair, Placer County Fair and the Roseville Berry Festival. The Fair attracts well over half a million visitors annu-
ally. In cooperation with the Miami-Dade County Public Schools, The Fair also showcases the artistic and aca- demic talents of more than 45,000 students through com- petition and exhibition, with winnings totaling more than $475,000 annually in cash premiums, awards, trophies and plaques. In its 61-year history, The Fair has donated more than $8 million in scholarships and premiums.

The 13th Annual Truck & Tractor
Pull was January 27-29, 2012. We had great weather and 3 days of roaring engines and flying clay. We had over 20 states represented; plus
Canada, with a total of 593 pulls. The proceeds will benefit the Youth of Citrus County for Scholarships. Everyone had a “Fun Time.” The Annual Fair is March 26th – 31st. We are very excited
to announce that the group Confederate Railroad will be here on Monday March 26th to perform. Other entertain- ment includes, Eudora Petting Farm, Oscar the Robot, Tall Tex, Scotts Crazy Magic Show, and the Robinson Racing Pigs. We will also showcase some outstanding local enter- tainers. Belle City Amusements will be here with their thrill- ing rides on the Midway. The Livestock programs are scheduled all week. The
