Sherree is a warm and inspirational individual who has earned a formidable reputation as the face of modern British impressionism over a career spanning more than three decades. She has an outstanding record of exhibitions in many of the UK’s most prestigious venues including Tate Galleries, the Barbican, the New English Art Club and the Lord’s Museum and has been the subject of two beautiful fine art books. Her unquestionable virtuosity has made her a favourite with many celebrity collectors including members of the British Royal Family and she has

been the portrait artist of choice for the great and good of public life. Her superb oil paintings provide a unique artistic commentary on childhood, society and sport and have earned her the official title of the UK’s leading modern impressionist. Famously reluctant to make public appearances Sherree has recently relaxed her rules. Joining forces with her daughter Lettice, a superb violinist, she has been a guest on the two most luxurious cruise ships in the world, Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth and Queen Mary II, painting to a rapturous reception

in front of a live audience. Sherree described the experience as magical, and it seems her feelings were shared by many of the guests on board as the ship’s art director commented afterwards: “Sherree’s exhibition was the busiest we have seen in the gallery. Her live painting demonstration attracted an audience of hundreds, many of whom described this fabulous event as the highlight of their voyage.” Christopher Thomas, Queen Elizabeth Art Director
