FINE ART PREVIEW

“Interpretation and style entirely befitting of the age in which we live”

To do this he moved away from the natural organic look of acrylic and canvas to high gloss enamel paint on sheet aluminium. This created a flawless reflective quality as if they were literally in a glossy magazine. The combination of paint and background

heightened the dynamic visual aspect of his work through the optical effect and overwhelming impact. As one looks at an image directly, depending on how the light falls, the variety and definition of colour and tone is lost and the portrait almost becomes a silhouette. It is only when viewed off-centre that the image comes alive and the portrait materialises before our eyes. Following a string of sell out shows and media attention Paul has become one of the world’s most sought-after contemporary artists, receiving international acclaim and exhibiting as far afield as Japan, the United States and Australia. His extraordinary new works can be experienced in the gallery now.

FOREVER 27

Forever 27 celebrates the unique talents of four pioneering rock legends, all of whose lives were cut tragically short at the height of their extraordinary careers. The impact of each image is dramatically heightened by their stylish contemporary presentation on brushed aluminium.
