Easter weekend at Paignton Rugby Club is the place to be for many reasons. It’s not only the friendly atmosphere that this event brings every year but the choice of over 50 different ales and ciders for you to enjoy. There will be live music each evening and food on offer for you to enjoy with a nice real ale or crisp natural cider. The fun begins good friday at 11.30am with people from all around fi ling through the entrance to the giant marquee with their tasting notes and drinking vessel to sample what is on offer.
Entry fee is £10 to include tasting notes, glass and 4 tokens.
The opening day of the festival will host the fi rst ‘WBW Solicitors Trophy’, a game of rugby between Paignton Vets v Brixham Vets in memory of Martin ’Tommo’ Thomas who sadly left us Jan 8th 2011. It will become an annual event between the oldies from both clubs as well as invited players. No charge will be made to spectate this game but collections will be made for the Devon Air Ambulance. We would like to thank all sponsors of these events especially WBW Solicitors, Bays Brewery and Dartington Crystal for a beautiful trophy.
If you like an ale or two, whilst watching a game of
rugby, LIVE music and some food, then the only place to be in April 2012 is of course Paignton Rugby Club.
