Wellbridges Offers Healthy Food Workshops S

Deborah Post, MSN, board-certified advanced nurse practitioner and owner of Wellbridges, Inc., will be as- sisted by a Café chef as she discusses the positive impact of healthy food and shows how to prepare unique dishes that nourish specific body functions while delighting the taste buds. A summer ceviche menu featuring Caribbean, Peruvian and Mexican dishes will be prepared and enjoyed during the presentation of The Brain: Your Hard Drive, 10 a.m., February 29, as Post suggests wasy to protect and enhance the brain’s function as we age. The Café chef will create gluten-free cookies and cakes to accompany Post’s lecture on The Thyroid: Your Body’s Thermostat, at 10 a.m., March 14, as she discusses how proper support and protection allow this all-important gland to function efficiently.
